Livermore ART & PIANO Classes - Children Teens Adults

Respected artist, Thomasin Dewhurst has taught Art and Piano to children and adults for over twenty years. With a Masters Degree in Art and Art History, and advanced qualifications in Piano & Piano/Music Theory from Trinity College of Music, London, Thomasin offers high quality lessons and workshops for beginner to intermediate/advanced students. Students participate in two piano recitals each year, and in various art exhibitions (winning many top awards!).

Homeschool Art / Music

The instructor, Thomasin Dewhurst, is an approved vendor for Connecting Waters Charter School homeschooling art classes.

I offer various classes in Art and Piano / Introduction to Music for homeschooled students.

Homeschool students are welcome to join in any of the classes offered as well as the morning classes offered for homeschool students through LARPD.

Classes can be customized for groups of homeschool students, catering for specific ages, interests and skill level. Art History courses can also be organized for homeschool groups.

ART CLASSES COVER: Portraits, landscape, still-life, illustration, working with line, color, light & dark, perspective & depth, realism, collage, abstract art, pencil, colored, pencil, oil paint, watercolor, pastel, charcoal, acrylics, print-making and more.

Students develop their creativity by exploration and experimentation, and learn essential techniques of drawing, painting, sculpting and other methods of making art.

Beginner / Intermediate PIANO LESSONS offered: I teach private beginner to intermediate piano / keyboard lessons.
